Tomato Plants
I start the seeds about six weeks before planting time. Generally, the weather has left the frost behind, and the mornings are warm enough to plant. The plants to the left were started from seed. They are green bell peppers, cabbage, and tomato plants. The goal this year is to plant eighty tomato plants, twelve pepper, and twenty-four cabbage. The remainder of the garden, I plant from seed directly into the ground. The seeds consist of black zucchini, green beans, lettuce, watermelon, cantaloupe, and cucumbers. I don’t sell any of the produce I share with family and friends. None of it goes to waste.
